Hello Pine Creek Students and Families,

I am the K, 1st, & 2nd grade teacher at Pine Creek School.  For any of you who are new to the school this year, I wanted to share a little bit about myself, and for any returning families, here is a little about me you might not know.

I am originally from a small town in northeastern Montana called Bainville.  My first three years as a teacher and coach were also spent in my hometown.  In Bainville, I taught 2nd grade and coached various levels of volleyball, basketball, and track.

I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Minnesota State University Moorhead.  Throughout my college career, I competed in Cross Country and Track & Field.  Following my college graduation, I spent part of a year subbing at various schools near my hometown and spent the other seven months in Nairobi, Kenya volunteering with a local Christian organization that had various programs working with youth.

In the summer of 2013, I got married and moved to Livingston, where my husband already had a teaching position in the high school math department.  During the summer of 2015, we welcomed our first child into the world. In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing sports, hiking, and spending time with my family, friends, and pets.
